"SKYGRAZERS"  IN BRONZE
Columbine Park, Sterling
Original dedicated 1984; bronze replica dedicated in 2001

"Just beyond the clouds of doubt and chaos it appeared -- A congregation of spindling appendages fused in a mass of true belief, with heads reaching all directions in a quest for the elusive intangible... faith. Only a glimpse of the creature was visible as it hovered for a Millisecond in space and time before galloping with long-legged strides toward the heavens."

      ~Bradford Rhea, 1984

"METAMORPHOSIS" IN BRONZE
Bronze - Tourist Information Center, Hwy 6 & I-76
Original - Dorothy Corsburg Theater, NJC Campus
Bronze replica dedicated in 2002

"Beneath a shroud of fragile walls,
Quiet lives reside;
Changes pass like oceans squalls,
Omniscient laws preside.

Crawling forms emerge to roam,
And forage on the Earth;
Chrysalis crypts become their homes,
For a virtual rebirth.

Soon, Mourning Cloaks and Swallowtails,
Flutter in the Sky;
Their kaleidoscope wings, like galleon sails,
Catch the wind to fly.

      ~Bradford Rhea, 2002
