The “A Step Back in Time: Where were you in ’62?” children’s New Year’s Eve program will close out the museum’s holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 30 from 1 -3 p.m. (making it officially an eve of New Year’s Eve program).
Children ages 5- 12 won’t want to miss this extremely festive event, as the museum staff will rev up the old time machine and travel back to 1962, where all things 1962 will be the theme, as each of the program’s entertaining activities will be related to that memorable year. Of course, there will also be a grand celebration as participants countdown the New Year in 1962-style, complete with party poppers, noisemakers and LOTS of confetti!   The regular admission of $1.50 for children and $3.00 for attending parents/guardians does apply for this New Year’s Eve extravaganza. Space is also limited, so reservations are required – call the museum at 970-522- 3895.
